Is your dog not able to enjoy the dog park because of rough-housing puppies? Does your dog's idea of playtime mean walking around smelling stuff? Mine too! I started this group because my dog loves other dogs but being old and blind he gets scared when they want to jump around and play. This group is for anyone with a dog that likes to socialize with other dogs but needs gentle interaction due to age, disability, size or disposition.

"Mutts are different from other dogs. Truth be told, they are more like people than they are animals. Mutts look at the world through squinted eyes, eyes that have seen it all, too many times. They are impressed by little; canine Bogarts, a sneer on their lips, they have their own sense of flair, play, of dignity. The heart of a mutt is the heart of a lion, showing the hubrid vigor that makes him stronger than the sum of his component parts!!!" (pg. 7, Just Mutts by Steve Smith & Gene Hill) Let' …
